Inquiry Tribunal of Nishtar Park blast incident on Monday asked leaders, office bearers of as many as eleven religious organisations to appear in persons or through any of authorised representative or advocate, to present their viewpoint, theory of incident in the light of evidence available with them.
The request was made in order to start the regular proceedings of the tribunal, decide the mode of conduct of inquiry and to record the evidence in presence of all concerned.
Besides secretary Sindh home department, advocate general Sindh, CCPO Karachi and chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, the organisations asked for appearance were: Jamat Ahle-Sunnat Pakistan, Tehrik Awam Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan, Sunni Tehrik, Markazi Jamiat-e-Ulma-e-Pakistan, Ulma Tanzeem-e-Ahle Sunnat, Anjuman Tulba-e-Islam, Anjuman Jawanan-e-Islam, Nizam-e-Mustafa Party, Mustufyai Tehrik, Dawat-e-Islami, Suuni Movement Pakistan.
Organisations were also asked to file the list of witnesses to whom they want to examine in support of their theory on May 26, 2006 at Sindh High Court.
