Rishwat to doctors

This refers to the letter of Aftab Ahmed on the above issue. I am a doctor and in no way defending pharmaceutical companies. However, from the observations, one thing is sure that to clap you need both hands.
What I mean to say is that the responsibility of this menace lies on both the parties.
Both the parties, the pharmaceutical companies and the doctors should realise the level of crime they are committing while playing with human lives. On the whole our moral values have gone down to the lowest ebb. We should all remember that there is a Day of Judgement and both parties involved in 'Rishwat' are equally responsible /punishable.
May Allah bless us at least to follow the basics of Islam.
