Minister for Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr Muhammad Ijaz-ul-Haq on Thursday said the Saudi government has not imposed ban on the people below age of 40 years who want perform Umra with their families.
He made these remarks while responding to a query raised in the meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Religious Affairs held in Karachi under Chairmanship of Senator Maulana Sami-ul-Haq.
The minister was informed by the committee that ban has been imposed by the Saudi government on Umra of Pakistanis under the age of 40 years. The committee showed its concern about this ban as people are perturbed over it and they are inquiring about the matter.
