A delegation headed by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, Muhammad Ijaz-ul-Haq visited PIA head office and held meeting with Chairman and CEO PIA, Tariq Kirmani regarding the forthcoming Haj operation arrangements.
Federal Minister informed the PIA Chairman about the new Haj policy. Chairman assured the delegation that if the government decided to take this option, PIA would provide fullest co-operation for making necessary arrangements for conducting a smooth Haj operation.
The option of opening the transportation of Pakistani Hajis to all local and international carriers through a press tender was also discussed. The Ministry would consider this arrangement along with other options which was supported by PIA as well.-PR
