Director General Agriculture Extension Balochistan Ghulam Rasool on Thursday said that writing off loans for farmers would bring revolution in agriculture.
Talking to PTV, he said the government was focusing on the development of agriculture in Balochistan. He said the mega project of water in province would bring green revolution.
Some farmers were facing problems to pay their loans as there was shortage of water, he added. He said this facility was for all the farmers so that they could become strong financially and economically.
Saving water was the basic need of province, he added. He said, a high efficiency irrigation system would be started from the next year throughout the country and share of Balochistan would be larger in this project. Banks would be included in it so that the farmers could get loans easily, he added.
