Organisers of the moot told Business Recorder that an additional focus of the meeting will be to formulate an agenda of opportunities and constraints affecting social development that can be addressed in future meetings, as well as joint actions.
They said that the ministers would also develop strategies and identify actions to make dealing with these issues and implementation of sound policy more effective.
They said that in order to co-ordinate these initiatives, the ministers will promote the creation of sub-regional networks sharing experiences, searching for solutions, joint actions, mutual support and working together for the success of a politically owned institutional revival for social development across Asia.
The host of the meeting, the Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB) Daniyal Aziz will make a keynote presentation while other participants would also make presentations on issues related to public accountability in their respective countries.
