Pakistan is the 5tb largest producer of Milk in the world. However, only 7% of the milk is packaged while the balance is soul in un-packaged form by Milk vendors and shops.
In the last decade there has been great development in the Dairy Industry in Pakistan and new Plants have been set-up in different parts of the country.
Pakola is one of the oldest Pakistani brand which is well known for over half a century in the Beverage - Soft Drink Industry of Pakistan. It enjoys tremendous goodwill in the trade circles of our country, as this was the first locally formulated carbonated soft drink first introduced, as far back as 1950. PAICOLA had a number of flavours besides the original Ice Cream Soda which proved to be a hit and became the choice of the consumers in the 50s and early 60s.
Later, with the coming in of Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola the market share of Pakola Beverages declined but it still has a substantial brand and flavour-loyal consumer base.
In 2005 the House of PAICOL.A decided to diversify and enter the Milk processing and packaging business after, it acquired the Royal Dairy Plant on Super Highway near Karachi.
The Pakola family are a well-known and outstanding Industrial group of Pakistan with investments in Textiles, Synthetics, Food & Beverage Industries including carbonated soft-drinks, Juices & Bottled Water.
The goodwill of the great brand PAKOLA went well with the new product Pakola U.H.T. Milk in Tetra-Pak in plain and in four flavours (Rose, Mango, Ice-Cream & Pinacolada) in the 250ml pack. The response from the consumers was overwhelming and very positive. Pakola milk is now also available in 1 Liter Tetra Pak.
The milk is toned to 3.5% fat and pasteurised through the U.H.T. process and conforms to the laid-down food safety procedures and Tetra Packaging rules and standards, which gives a hygienically packaged and safe for drinking and full of energy milk to the consumers.
The demand for PAKOLA milk, both plain and flavoured, is growing from day to day and with good marketing and sales strategies, it will soon become the first choice of the consumers.
