Pakistan and India wrapped up their 4-day experts level talks convened by the World Bank's mediator Professor Ramind Lafeeti over the Baghliar dam at the International Dispute Resolution Centre here on Monday.
The head of Pakistani delegation and Federal Secretary Water and Power Dr Ishfaq Mehmood said he was satisfied over the talks on the subject. It gave us a good opportunity to effectively put across our viewpoint and gave rebuttal to the arguments put forward by India. He left for Islamabad here Monday.
During the discussion on the Baghliar dam, the technical experts of the two countries gave their oral arguments because they had already submitted their viewpoints to the World Bank's in writing.
