Saarc Chamber's activities praised

Saarc Chamber of Commerce & Industry former President Kanti Kumar R Podar has highly appreciated the activities of Saarc Chamber particularly its role towards the implementation of Safta and future concept of Saarc Economic Union.
He stated this in a message sent to the FPCCI former Chief Iftikhar Ali Malik, a spokesman of Guard Group said here on Tuesday.
Iftikhar Malik said that concept of Saarc Economic Union had bright prospects for the prosperity of South Asia. Rising costs of transportation were the major factor, which compelled the Saarc member countries to increase mutual trade to get the benefit of geographical proximity.
