Four persons, including a woman, were killed and another four injured when a speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle rickshaw in Mian Channu on Monday night.
District police said that a speedy truck (Peshawar-2557) collided with a motorcycle rickshaw on a Mian Channu road, killing four persons, including a woman, on the spot and injuring four others who were rushed to Nishtar Hospital, Multan.
The deceased have been identified as Saeed Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed, Nasrullah and Mukhtaran Bibi. The motorcycle rickshaw was damaged beyond recognition, while the truck driver fled the scene. A case has been registered.
