Punjab Bar Council (PBC) has announced to observe strike on June 1 to protest police aggression towards the bar members. The bar in its meeting demanded immediate transfer of DPO and DSP Layyah and initiation of disciplinary action against them for beating and torturing bar member Abdur Razzaq Rahi.
The bar also demanded arrest of culprits involved in the murder of Syed Masroor Mehdi Zaidi and murderous attack on PBC member Muhammad Arif Bhinder.
