The meeting of Mediation Committee of the National Assembly discussed and approved the Pemra (Amendment) Bill, 2005 here on Wednesday. The committee meeting held here in Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi.
During the meeting, President Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman made certain amendments in the Pemra (Amendment) Bill, 2005. Minister of State for Law, Justice and Human Rights, Senator, Shahid Akram Bhinder, Senator Samee Siddiqui, Senator Tahira Latif and Senator Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa were also present on the occasion.
