In view of the sharp rise in demand for power supply to overcome power overloading and tripping, an agreement was signed between Lesco and an Iranian firm, Iran Transfo, for provision of 10 power transformers to Lesco. The transformers to cost about Rs 250 million will be installed at various grid stations of Lahore.
