Systems Limited, Pakistan's premier and most technologically advanced information technology company, recently came out the winner in an exciting cricket tournament by comprehensively beating 36 other teams from different IT companies, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
Demonstrating that its prowess extends beyond the realms of IT, Systems Limited triumphed at the annual cricket tournament staged as part of the FAST-NUCES Sports Gala 2006.
Displaying high quality technical skills and sound leadership, Systems Limited competed in the tournament with 36 other teams, including those from WOL, Brain Net, Trisects, NetSol, Sensys, and Favour and played seven matches on its way to the final, winning all of them in spectacular fashion, the statement added.
Systems Limited Managing Director Ashraf Kapadia congratulated his team for winning the tournament. The final match against Favour proved to be a nail-biting contest. Systems Limited scored 69 runs in just seven overs and it's highly praised pace attack came up with some inspired bowling to bowl the opposition out for 60 runs.
Although the whole team contributed to this success, Maqsood Ahmed Chaudhry (Captain), Amanullah, Tiff Sharif, Rana Aftab Alam, Adeel Basit, Mohsin Shahzad, Kamran Ahmed and Waleed Mehmood made outstanding contributions.-PR
