The Karachi Port handled 72,901 tonnes of cargo including 51,119 tonnes import, 21,782 tonnes export cargo and 3,668 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 55,701 tonnes dry cargo including 34,808 tonnes general cargo; 20,893 tonnes bulk cargo and 17,200 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. Three ships namely Athinoula, Fayza and Ever Guard sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Ever Guard, Thor Falcon, Patton-1, Apl Jeddah and MOL Silver Fern are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Patton-1, Rainbow Spring, Tug Captain Michalls, Thor Falcon, Mesaieed and Apl Jeddah expected to sail on Wednesday, while three vessels viz Amar, Guan He Kou and DD Vigor are expected to sail on Thursday.
Ten vessels viz MT Swat, MT Lalazar, Fiona, Global Union, Marcalbria, Hyundai Future, Kota Waruna, CMA CGM Simba, DD Master and Chang Jiang due to arrive on Wednesday, while eight ships namely Ltc Calvin P. Titus, Oel Aishwarya, Thor Captain, Maersk Cloud, Bolan, Khairpur, Kardaren Star and Free Fighter are due to arrive on Thursday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 70,361 tonnes comprising 49,791 tonnes import and 20,570 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,298 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 3,470 tonnes furnace oil; 4,069 tonnes edible oil; 16,874 tonnes iron ore; 3,386 tonnes sugar; 3,496 tonnes yellow peas and 39,066 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely MT Rich Duchess and MT Stolt Tenacity sailed out to sea during the report period, while three more ships namely CV P&O Nedlloyd Muscat, CV Gallant Wave and MV Sea Journey are expected to sail on Wednesday.
A total of four vessels viz Anette Kosan, Gallant Wave, Bavaria Express and MSC Maya are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely MT Anette Kosan, CV Gallant Wave and CV Bavaria Express due to take berths on Wednesday.
Two vessels viz MT Mastery and MV Trinity with iron ore and chemicals due to arrive on Wednesday, while five more ships namely CV Saudi Tabuk, CV Al-Mariyah, MT Al-Marwah, MT Sita Camilla and Al-Maqwa with containers, diesel oil and chemicals are due to arrive on Thursday.
