MARKET ANALYSIS: The national currency shed grounds verus dollar in the kerb today amid rise of the greenback in the international market. The US dollar kicked off new days' trading at its overnight closing rate of Rs 60/40, registered gains and changed hands at Rs 60/45 at close of markets on Wednesday. Thus, the local currency shed 0/05 paisa against dollar in the open market.
