The amount of housing subsidy has exceeded Rs 10 billion with the release of another sum of Rs 1,180,675,000 by Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (Erra). According to a press release issued here on Thursday the number of beneficiaries of the housing subsidy has increased to 140,675.
The release includes a sum of over Rs 530 million to the Provincial Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Agency of NWFP for 7,534 affected household.
A sum of over Rs 600 million has been released to the State Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Agency of AJK for 8,667 families to enable them to start the repair or reconstruction of their damaged and destroyed houses.
