The Pakistan Peoples Party-Parliamentarian (PPPP) will hold province-wide rallies against privatisation, poor law and order situation and unprecedented price hike of the daily use items from June 15, according to party's labour wing head Abdul Qadir Shaheen.
He said the rallies, which would be organised at district and tehsil level, would be led by local leadership. He flayed the government for not coming up to the expectations of the people and said the incapable rulers had endangered the integrity and solidarity of the country owing to the ill-conceived economic policies.
Shaheen alleged the government did not give any relief to the poor in the 2006-07 Federal budget, adding a huge amount of billions of rupees had been recommended to the Punjab for paper projects to win the next general elections.
