5,000/MT CRUDE DEGUMMED SOYBEAN OIL TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Government of The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan will tender for the sale of about 5,000/MT US in whole or in sub-lots of 1,000/mt each of Crude Degummed Soybean Oil for shipment from US Port(s) delivery during July 20-August 25, 2006 for shipment to Pakistan Port by bulk tanker vessel.
The sale will be conducted in the English language under strict payment terms in US dollars that require bid bonds, performance bonds, and Confirmed Irrevocable Letters of Credit in advance of the contract award. The bids due under the tender terms must be submitted by 21, June, 2005 (USA time), with the results of the tender provided no later than the following morning 09:30 A.M Standard Central Time USA. The tender is subject to the terms and conditions of the US Department of Agriculture Food for Progress Program.
