'One Window Cell' for facilitating establishment of Citizens Community Boards (CCBs) would be fully functional at Jinnah Hall from July 1, disclosed District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood here on Thursday.
He was addressing a seminar on 'Project cycle management and classification of CCBs', organised by the Community Development Department of the City District Government.
Amer said the Cell would be bound for according approval and releasing developmental funds within two months after scrutinising all technical aspects of project proposals. He said the CDGL had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Development Trust for Community Participation for training the members of these boards.
He further said the CDGL had been providing financial assistance with a ratio of 20:80 to about 100 projects under the CCB arrangement at a cost of Rs 250 million.
