The construction of 4th Rescue-15 has been launched in Faisalabad, to effectively curb the activities of Criminals. This" Best Rescue-15 " is being constructed at Kashmir Bridge on Canal Road by Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) in collaboration with Best Exports Limited.
Additional Inspector General Police, Talat Mehmood on Friday laid the foundation stone of the Kashmir Bridge Rescue-15. He lauded the efforts of CPLC for establishing 4 Rescue-15 in Faisalabad and upgrading 4 Police Stations of Peoples Colony, Gulberg Colony, Sargodha Road and Khurrian Wala into "Model Police Stations. And the installation of 59 Video Cameras in D.Ground Peoples Colony, Clock Tower and other vital points of the city for surveillance purpose.
He thanked the CPLC members for providing sound system, video surveillance apparatus, motor cycles, motor cars, wireless communication system and Ambulances in these Rescue-15 to monitor the traffic and outskirts.
In his brief speech, City-District Nazim, Rana Zahid Tausif, announced that the district government would provide a grant-in-aid of rupees 10 Million to CPLC for the installation of more static Video Cameras at all vital points and the focal points of roads leading to city.
He appreciated the working of CPLC to curb the criminals and anti-social elements.
The CPLC Chief, Mr Saqib Shahzad, while addressing the participants of the function told that CPLC has so far spent a huge amount of rupees 50 Million for the construction of Model Police Stations, establishment of Rescue-15, installation of Speed Doom and Video Cameras in various parts of Faisalabad and their connectivity with all Rescue-15 and important Police Stations.
He said that the CPLC also installed 19 static Cameras for Security of worship places and also spent rupees 8 Million for installation of traffic signage, digital signals, computerised Driving Licences and traffic awareness campaign.
DPO, Captain (Retd) Muhammad Amin Vaince, TPO Madina Town, Saeed Gondal, TPO Sadar, Zia Ullah Niazi, Director Best Export, Sheikh Danish and CPLC Executive Committee Members, Junaid Riaz, Shahid Aziz Advocate and Ahmad Raza Bhalli were also attended the ceremony of Rescue-15.
