Karachi-based MPAs of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) Nasrullah Shaji, Hameedullah Khan advocate and Muhammad Younus Barai on Sunday expressed grave concern over continued loadshedding in Karachi and opposed early closure of city markets.
They said the administration was bent on turning Karachi from a city of lights to a city of darkness. They said rulers had neither time nor care to solve problems faced by the citizens.
They said forcing traders to pull shutters of their shops after 8pm was a death warrant against the trade and economy of Karachi.
They said the government had miserably failed to redress problems of joblessness and price-hike in its recent budget. They demanded of the government to solve basic problems faced by the masses.
