Pakistan and India will hold talks on the Wullar barrage on June 22. The Wullar barrage is one of the eight issues being discussed under the Composite Dialogue process. The talks were earlier scheduled for April 16 and 19, but were deferred at the request of Indian Water Secretary J. Harinarayan. Later on the talks scheduled on April 25-26 could not be held.
The Asian Age online reported on Thursday that Pakistan Water and Power secretary Ishfaq Mahmood will lead the delegation.
