Proposed royalty of Bhasha Dam opposed

Speaker Northern Areas Legislative Council Malik Muhammad Miskeen has rejected the proposed 50 percent royalty of Bhasha Dam for Northern Areas and demanded a Judicial Commission under the chair of Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Talking to the visiting journalist from Islamabad the Speaker praised the development in the NAs during the last six years. He expressed its optimism that Kashmir dispute would soon be solved, as President Musharraf is doing sincere efforts to solve this dispute with India.
Malik Miskeen also demanded all the rights, which are being enjoyed by other provinces of Pakistan. He said that government should take care of the wishes and aspirations of the people of Northern Areas, which had paid sacrifices to defend the boundaries of the country.
