This is with reference to an ad appearing in the Business Recorder (Tuesday, June 6, 2006) released by the Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiatives on the subject. The obvious intention of the advertisement is to ensure transparency and a level playing field for all.
However, on a closer look, at the specifications of the cabs, it appears that they are tailor-made to match the famous London cabs. Why does it have to be specified that "Passenger seats in the seating compartment should be facing each other" and, so on? The Federal Minister for Special Initiatives is requested to look into this opaque initiative and ensure its' transparency.
