A study has revealed that drinking coffee can help lower the risk of type-2 diabetes. The study, conducted by the National Public Health Institute of Finland found that people who drank more coffee than others had a lower risk of diabetes.
Over 25,000 participants in Finland were involved in the study.
According to the Daily Mail, those who were inactive and overweight but who drank seven or more cups a day were half as likely to develop the condition as those who drank the least number of cups.
Type-2 diabetes is a growing health problem that is linked to obesity and lack of exercise.
