The Karachi Port handled 210,548 tonnes of cargo including 190,597 tonnes import, 19,951 tonnes export cargo and 3,559 containers during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 140,994 tonnes dry cargo including 89,093 tonnes general cargo; 5,338 tonnes sugar; 30,342 tonnes fertiliser; 3,513 tonnes rice; 2,666 tonnes cement; 9,202 tonnes coal; 840 tonnes wheat and 69,554 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Eleven ships namely Sinar Bontang, Kota Teraju, Conti Harmony, Jin Ace, Yang Jiang He, Maersk Alabama, Shofu, Al-Fatah, J Safe, Hyde Park and Ocean Highway sailed out to sea during the report period.
Eleven vessels viz MT Lalazar, Dina Queen, Yang Jiang He, Nikolaos-P, Ocean Highway, Bao Heng Men, Maersk Alabama, Kota Jasa, Galaxy Leader, Liberty Eagle and Mol Asante are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Tai He, Kota Jasa, Al-Rabab, MT Lalazar, DD Master and B India expected to sail on Monday, while six vessels viz Nikolaos-P, Global Prosperity, Batu, Bolan, Liberty Eagle and Mol Asante are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Two vessels viz Yang Mol Kauri and San Nicholas due to arrive on Monday, while nine ships namely Majori, MT Swat, Sun Lavender, Oel Aishwarya, Iran Tabatabaei, Apl Jable Ali, Conqueror, Regine and Antarioe Breeze are due to arrive on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 80,532 tonnes comprising 62,465 tonnes import and 18,037 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,982 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 21,278 tonnes diesel oil; 4,012 tonnes edible oil; 20,000 tonnes chemicals; 1,548 tonnes sugar and 33,694 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely CV Cma Cgm Alabama, CV Orient Independence, MT Sita Kathrine and MT Chemstar Hero sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more vessels viz CV Camilla Rickmers and CV Msc Brasilia are expected to sail on Monday.
A total of six vessels viz Letavia, Yong Xiang-9, Chemstar Echo, Trust Spirit, Sank Rejoice and Boreal are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely CV Nedlloyd Muscat, CV Indonesia Star, MT Trust Spirit and MT Chemstar Echo due to take berths on Monday.
Two vessels viz MT New Toyokaze and MT Warbah with edible oil and diesel oil due to arrive on Monday, while two ships namely MT Ace-7 and MV CEC Oceanic with edible oil and general cargo are due to arrive on Tuesday.
