Some changes were reported on the grain market on Monday as balanced demand and supply helped the rates to retain their weekend levels, dealers said.
A solo deal was seen on the cereals side, where wheat Mexipak picked up rupees five to Rs 1065, they said. Strong supplies from the upcountry centres helped in meeting the demand by the buyers, they said. On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh managed to gain Rs 30 to Rs 1330 on the improved demand, they said.
