A central leader of PPP Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the Establishment is not going to relinquish the power even if the country is dismemberment. Speaking to a private TV channel, he said it is not an easy task to get rid of the present rulers as happened in the past and the opposition also knows it.
He said both Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif have made a firm commitment with each other that none of them would hold talks with General Pervez Musharraf whatever offers he makes or whatever may the circumstances. He said that they have also decided to return to the country soon.
The PPP leader said that Benazir and Nawaz Sharif are also aware of the facts that their parties would have to offer numerous sacrifices for the restoration of true democratic order in the country.
