Two car bombs exploded in Baghdad's central Karradah district on Sunday hours after another car bomb went off in the same area killing at least two and wounding seven, a security official said.
The latest two explosions occurred almost simultaneously at about 11:00 am (0700 GMT), one near a popular shoe store as a police patrol passed through the area's main shopping avenue, the other in nearby Arasat street, the official said.
There was no immediate word on casualties from the new attacks.
Three hours earlier a bomb went off at a busy road intersection in Karradah.
The latest attacks come a day after a car bombing in the capital's Shiite district of Sadr City left 66 people dead and about 100 others wounded, despite a heavy security clampdown in the capital for the past three weeks.
