Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) is trying to maintain power supply in the metropolis after receiving additional power of 100MW from Wapda on daily basis.
According to an official of the ministry of water and power, with this additional 100MW, the power supply from Wapda to KESC will increase from 600MW to 700MW daily. "This immediate relief will truly minimise the electricity problem in Karachi."
He said to resolve the problem, the KESC has been directed by the ministry of water and power to improve their distribution system for uninterrupted and stable power supply to the people of Karachi.
