Pakistan International Airlines in continued quest for excellence to be a world class airline now offers Awards Plus, an exclusive programme for customers who frequently travel with national flag carrier.
It allows members to earn points for travelling with PIA based long distance travel, class of service purchased and membership tier status. These can then be exchanged for free tickets, excess baggage vouchers, cabin upgrades and many other exciting awards.
It offers three memberships tiers based on point accumulation and segments travelled. First Emerald tier is basic level for new members offering benefits such as 500 bonus points on enrolment, 10 percent bonus points for travelling in Economy Plus class, 25 percent bonus points for travel in Club Class.
The second passengers can acquire is Sapphire tier on accumulation of at least 30,000 points or 25 segments in a calendar year. In addition to Emerald tier privileges, Sapphire status offers benefits like 25 percent bonus points for travel on any PIA segment, check-in at business class counters, 50 percent extra free baggage allowance (not applicable for journeys to USA & Canada).
The third and highest membership offering is Diamond tier, where members acquire its status on accumulation of at least 70,000 points or 50 segments in a calendar year.
