Three brothers on a bicycle were trampled to death under the wheels of a hit-and-run loader van on the Chiniot-Jhang road near Haveli Loharan at around 9.00 o'clock on Wednesday morning. The rashly driven loader van (No 4527) rammed into the cycle, and all three youngsters received critical injuries and died on the spot.
The brothers, sons of Muhammad Nasir of village Hairat, had been identified as Abid Ali (20), Faisal (8) and Haq Nawaz (4). The loader driver managed to escape. Police had registered the case and started probe.
