Increase in working hours resented

Activists of Mazdoor Action Committee (MAC) staged a demonstration here on Friday, to protest the government decision, increasing the working hours from 8 to 12 hours. Addressing the demonstrators, Secretary General All Pakistan Trade Unions, Chaudhry Gulzar said that the government has totally failed to check escalating price-hike.
He added that the government is following anti-workers policies. President WWO Rubina Jameel demanded of the government to withdraw recent increase in gas prices, and also give economic empowerment to women.
