Decision upheld

The Lahore High Court (LHC) upheld the decision of special court for suppression of terrorist activities, awarding capital punishment to eight persons Muhammad Ayaz and others of Raja Jhang.
The convicts were involved in the murders of eight persons Muhammad Nawaz and others due to old enmity. The special court had awarded capital punishment to the petitioner Ayaz and others.
The petitioner had approached the court against the decision of the special court with prayer to set aside the decision of the respondent court. The court, after hearing their counsel at length, dismissed his petition and upheld the decision of the special court.
