With Gwadar rapidly developing and the railway and road network between Gwadar and rest of the country in full swing the importance of Quetta has enhanced by manifold. Already a large number of development projects are going on in Balochistan, the number of visitors to Quetta is increasing fast.
Quetta in the near future will act as a hub and transition point for Central Asian countries and China's trade, which will result in the greater flux of people to this city.
The present Quetta airport building is very small and is hardly able to handle the present load of passengers I hence request the Government of Pakistan and Civil Aviation Authority CAA to extend, expand and renovate Quetta Airport Building and extend and re-inforce the present runway for B-747 and B777 landing.
