In his message on the occasion of death anniversary of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said the government had provided equal opportunities to the women in all the fields of life so that they could contribute in the national development equally.
Paying tributes to Fatima Jinnah, the Prime Minister said the nation would remember her contributions forever for the democratic process, progress and prosperity of the country and especially her work for the women.
Appreciating her role in Pakistan Movement, Prime Minister Aziz said Fatima Jinnah, a true sister of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah extended full political and moral support to his brother.
Prime Minister said, "She will forever remain the pride of Pakistan and for the whole nation."
Shaukat urged the nation to set aside its differences and build Pakistan according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam and Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah.
The Prime Minister said that paying tributes to eminent personalities was to reiterate and commit to the noble traditions engendered by their achievements, he said, "Pakistan's history is incomplete without Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah."
The Prime Minister said Fatima Jinnah had a deep political insight and always worked for democracy.
