Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal Sindh President Asadullah Bhutto has alleged that the Sindh government in collaboration with the federal government wants to pit the religious parties and the Muslims against one another.
Talking to Radio Tehran, Asadullah Bhutto said that over two months of the Nishtar Park blast had passed in which several high-profile Ulema of Ahl-e-Sunnat and other people were killed; whoever, the elements behind the blast had so far not been arrested.
Asadullah Bhutto said that the Sindh government wanted to involve Shia sect in the incident, adding that the Shia Ulema Council Chief and the MMA leader, Maulana Hassan Turrabi, also claimed that the government had arrested few Shia youth and harassed them.
The MMA leader said the provincial government wanted the youth to confess to be involved in the incident. He alleged that an official of the provincial government had provided millions of rupees in bribe to the law enforcement agencies to hold Shias responsible for the Karachi incident.
