Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has emphasised on the need of peace and said that no development could occur unless it prevailed. Meeting a delegation of International Organisation of Ahle Sunnat led by Pir Afzal Qadri here on Sunday, the chief minister asked the religious scholars to promote educational activities.
He told the delegation that provincial government was establishing 'Seerat Academy' and 'Quran Complex' on 47-kanal area in Lahore. Pir Afzal Qadri appreciated government efforts for promotion of religious education on the occasion.
