A government spokesman on Monday said no decision has yet been taken to ground PIA's Fokker F-27 fleet. Quashing reports in the media that the Prime Minister had ordered grounding of the fleet following crash of PK-688 at Multan, the spokesman said a high-level enquiry has been ordered.
However he made it clear no decision has yet been taken to ground the remaining six F-27 aircraft currently being used by PIA.
