Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said that the revival of the Council of Common Interest (CCI) augurs well for the federation as it will provide a constitutional forum to remove differences amongst provinces and promote inter-provincial harmony.
He said this while talking to Federal Ministers Saleem Saifullah Khan, Ghaus Bukhsh Mehr and Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, the newly appointed members of the CCI who called on him at the Prime Minister Secretariat this afternoon. Shaukat said that the creation of the CCI meets a very important constitutional requirement and will augur well for promotion of democracy and good governance in Pakistan.-PR
