Foreign artists will also perform in the PTV national award-giving ceremony to be held at the PAF Memoriam in Karachi on Saturday, July 15. The PTV officials have finalised all arrangements for holding the grand show.
The PTV authorities told the agency that eminent columnist Dr Younas Butt has written script for the show while Khwaja Najmul Hasan will be electric producer.
Moeen Akhtar will perform as compere and Fakhar Alam, Meesha, Ali Suleman, Aisha Sana, Sahir, Shaista Wajidi, Tauseeq Haider and Nighat Rizwi will assist him. Some 3,000 guests have been invited to the grand show. Artists from China and Iran will specially come to Karachi to participate in the function.
According to officials eminent comic Omar Sharif will present one man show besides presenting two sketches. Similarly, Mishi Khan and Qaiser Qazi will also present two sketches.
A special item with the name of Golden Girls will also be presented to pay tributes to the great Pakistani actresses including Soran Lata, Noor Jehan, Musarrat Nazir, Sabeeha Khanam, Shamim Ara, Rani and Nilo. Film Actress Laila, Veena Malik, Barak and Ahsan will present the special item. The PTV will live telecast the function.
