PIE asked to facilitate process of industrialisation

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has directed Punjab Industrial Estates (PIE) to facilitate the industrialisation process at Sunder Industrial Estate (SIE) and other industrial estates by providing all utilities specially electricity at minimum possible tariff.
In the light of directions of the chief minister, the Chairman PIE met Chief Executive Lesco to provide the best possible industrial tariff to PIE, which in turn would charge same electric tariff from all its clients in Sundar Industrial Estate at which Lesco (Lahore Electric Supply Corporation) is charging from Industrial concerns in Lahore metropolis. As the country is experiencing shortage of power, the chief minister has also instructed PIE to expedite finalisation of 225 MW independent power plant investor for Sundar.
