The value of potato chips, incandescent lamps, tube-lights and energy saver lamps has been fixed in dollars for assessment of sales tax at the import stage. The CBR has issued SRO 732(I)/2006 on Saturday to implement the decision. According to the decision, the Board has fixed the value of the following goods for the purpose of sales tax assessment at import stage:
According to SRO 671(I)/2006, the board has also fixed the minimum price of lubricating oil in packs (PCT headings 2710.1951 and 2710.1952) at $2 per litre for assessment of excise duty at import stage.
