Developmental process started in FATA
PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that developmental process has been started in FATA after the restoration of peace in the tribal area with the special focus on health and education sectors.
He said this while addressing the visiting participants of National Security Workshop currently under process at National Defense University Islamabad, here at Governor's House, Peshawar.
Besides DG ISSRA Maj. Gen. Ghulam Qamar, Senators, some of the Members of National and Provincial Assemblies, Bureaucrats, Ambassadors and senior officers of Armed Forces attended the workshop, while Additional Chief Secretary FATA Fida Wazir, Principal Secretary to Governor Sikandar Qayyum and Secretary Law and Order FATA were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the participants of the Workshop the Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said that due to great sacrifices of Pakistan Army , people of FATA and Security forces, peace has been restored in the tribal areas and now the developmental process has been started in all the agencies with special focus to the education, health, communication and infrastructure.
He said that the reforms in FATA will be implemented according to the wishes of the people of FATA to bring them in the national mainstream.
