The exchange of delegation between China and Pakistan will further strengthen relationship between the two countries, which has matured into a strategic partnership over 55 years of bilateral relations.
This was stated by leaders of Xingjian Autonomous Region who met and hosted a grand banquet in the honour of a 100-member youth delegation visiting China from July 9 to 21. The delegation is being led by Federal Secretary Youth Affairs Saleem Mohammed Saleem. The visit is being hosted by the All China Youth Federation in connection with 55 years of bilateral relations.
The Vice President Xingjiang Youth Federation and member Standing Committee of Xingjiang Communist Party, China while addressing the delegation said that there will be greater exchange of businessmen, students, political leaders to further promote the ties between the two "all-weather" friends.
Earlier the delegation visited Xingjiang medical university where 380 Pakistani students are taking medical education. Dean Dr Wu Xing Hua of the University while addressing Pakistani delegation and students said this institution offers scholarships and a range of other facilities to the Pakistani students in line with their socio-religious requirements. This university was recognised by the WHO's 'accredited international medical education institution in 90s.
The members of the youth delegation have appreciated the social cohesion between various ethnic minorities, which enjoy equal rights and peaceful life in a fast developing region of Xingjuag.
The youth delegation, which arrived in Yinchuan, Ningxia on Saturday, would proceed to Beijing where a meeting is scheduled with the Foreign Minister of China this week, besides a visit to the Great Wall of China and a meeting with the Beijing Organising Committee for the 2008 Olympics to be hosted by China.
