Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) has lauded the trade policy, sayings it will keep strengthening the country's export base. In a statement, FCCI President Mian Muhammad Hanif said since the government economic policies were good, the 18.6 billion-dollar export target, set for the current fiscal year, was achievable.
He suggested that the government should give long-term incentives to the exporters and reduce gas, electricity rates to enable them to produce products at competitive rates. Mian Hanif hoped that the trade policy would have far reaching impact on the country's overall exports.
