Wapda extends incentive package

Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has extended its incentive package of reconnection for industries up to December 31, 2006. Industries can avail this package after payment of 50-percent of the defaulting amount as the first instalment for reconnection.
The balance amount will be recovered in three instalments. However, following reconnection, billing will be made after every 15 days to avoid accumulation of bills till the total outstanding dues are cleared. If any industrial unit defaults in payment of current bill or instalment the connection will be disconnected without giving any notice.
