Two soldiers killed in blast

Two soldiers were killed and three others wounded on Thursday when an explosive device hit their convoy in a restive tribal area bordering Afghanistan, officials said.
The device exploded in Machi Khel village of North Waziristan tribal district bordering Afghanistan as about 30 military vehicles were passing in the area, a security official told AFP.
"One soldier was martyred and four others were injured, two of them have serious injuries," the official said on the condition of anonymity. One of the wounded soldiers later died at hospital, he said.
