At least three people were killed and three injured when their house caved in on them in Mawardi Khel village, district Bannu. The house made of mud and bricks collapsed due to heavy rains. Three others were injured and taken to DHQ Hospital Bannu where they were in serious condition.
The dead are identified as Gul Khan, Sapari Jana and Badshazada Bibi died whereas Guldar Ali s/o Gul Khan, Umar Ali s/o Guldar Ali and Niaz s/o Sher Ali were seriously wounded.
Haji Mateen Khan, Nazim, Union Council Bazar Ahmad told reporters on Friday that localities of Bilal Abad, Gandali Kotka, Sokari are the worst affected areas of the district. He urged the Revenue department to assess the damage of the affected areas so as to provide relief to the victims.
